Hello people,i am back!!! *Stretch out arms, let out a big yawn*
Wow, what busy months i will be having ahead of me!!! Coming concert and events for my darlings at the centre, exams and assignments queueing up ahead of me. All to be done by Dec 05! My world now is filled with children, nursery ryhmes, montessori and little bambi! One "side effect" of this occupation is that i no longer sing pop songs. Instead, i will sing nursery rhymes when i am bathing! Quite funny isn't it?
"I can run...I can run...I can run like a tiger in the woods..."
And sometimes, the funny things that the children say will keep running in my head, and i will laugh at the thought of it. A lot of things happened and i have learnt a lot. And i am glad that i am back on the track again! :)
HUMBLE
I realised that i have known only a few humble people in my life, and none of them are guys!! *Hee hee....no offense to any guy friends out there!!* To me, i think humble people are very hard to come by nowadays. One often turns proud when they are constantly assured and praised for their strengths. Thus, they tend to think that they are the best and become very judgemental on others. On the opposite, humble people keep an open mindset and accept critism and opinions with a very positive attitude and always think that they have something to improve on. I wish that I can meet more humble people on my way along my life. Meanwhile, i am constantly reminding myself to stay humble on my job.
INNOCENCE
Is a child's innonence, is a child's ignorance, is a child's pure character that made me stand strong on my job now. Despite all the tiring bending (to bath, to wear shoes), the stink (their puke and shit), the tiring eye threathening stare (to frightened the naughty ones), i still love the kids to bits! The more i get along with them, the more i like them, especially my afternoon class. Here is one cute incident to list!
One day, when i am helping a nursery one boy to wear his shoe, he suddenly said, "Teacher Carole, can i move away from this spot?"
"Why?" I asked him.
"Cause I want to move away from my shadow. I am sitting on it and it kept moving",he answered innocently and point to his shadow.
I giggled and say to him, "Zheng Yu, your shadow will always follow you! You can't move away from it!"
This cute conversation made my mum and sisters laughed too! It reminded me that when i am small, i also asked my mother why did the moon kept following me when we are on a taxi ride. :p! And oh my god....children!!!! They are really cute to bits man!!!If there are any more cute incidents, i will definitely share with you people!! :) Ok, time to sleep! I am very tired already! Goodnight!

For these few days,my centre will be having "Class At Work" where parents visit us when we teach. And on this Monday, there is actually a parent who mistaken that i am a parent too! She came forward and apologise to me telling me that she thought i am the parent of a boy as i am sitting close to him.Ha ha ha!! Does it means that i am very motherly???? Or means i look old???? I choose to believe the former one! C'mon, when did i look old before!!!(Evil and threatening grin). And is only after working this childcare job then i really appreciate each resting moment i have when i reach home. For a jelly office girl to sudden transform to lady zena is not easy afterall!
Went for a body checkup today and first time in my life i have a blood test. The room where the nurses sit seems to be very calm for nervous patients waiting for their injections. But i bet, is only ME who is nervous. I ask the old uncle nurse innocently if the injection will be painful and he say nicely that i will tell him after i have mine. He sort of assured me that it will be fine and he called me to squeeze the rod in the my hand as tight as possible so that it will not be that painful. And yes, it is not very painful at all! It is kinda of like an ant bite BUT it last for quite some time!! I've just removed the plaster on my arm and there are some bruises. Caring mummy rushed and put on another plaster on my arm. How nice it is that Dad and Mum are staying with me now again!! WHy??? Because my two RICH sisters are travelling AGAIN and i can now enjoy the accompany of my parents!! :)
P/s: Am glad that things are settling down and i hope i will be back on my route soon.

Dear Dear Dear Darlings,I am back in the blogging world!!!
(Wave madly, with my flabby meat on my arm wobbling...Hee Hee)
Actually, each time when i come online, i did go to see all my darlings friends blog but is just too lazy to blog mine. As my job is super tiring!! I will just work, nap on bus, go home and by the clock strike 10.30, my eyes will feel very heavy and i will doze off while watching television. And everytime when i fall asleep in the bus on my way, i will be REALLY sleeping till i will crash my head on the window!! Ha Ha Ha! :P Too shag out lah.... Don't laugh at me please!!
This week is super busy for us as one teacher is on mc and another on leave. ONE teacher really made a difference in the childcare industry. Cause each teacher do have a important part in each role they play. And especially when we are teaching the PN (Pre Nursery) classes, it is more like taking care then teaching them, and is very tiring.
Our lessons are spilt into morning and afternoon and everyday after our morning class, all the teachers will be like "mad woman" cause all of us are shagged out. Then we will have about 1 hour of lunching and resting time before the afternoon bunch came in.
What i can say is that in this centre, you have no time for rest!! Cause whenever there is time, teachers will be rushing for reports, worksheet or child work. I will be having "Class at Work" session for the whole of next week. And that simply means that we invite the students' parents to see how we conduct the lessons. And me, being the new bird, is mainly the PR role for the time being.
But i am glad i have a bunch of helpful, humurous and very initative teachers to work with. I can see how much i can learnt from them. In fact, i haven't even learnt 1/10 of their power. Impressive and very initiative people i am meeting now! :)

I finally realised the reason of why thinking is not enough. I am so glad that i went into this line so fast without resting, so that i can really see if it is the thing for me.
What I can say now is that i have only work for 3 days and childcare is not easy. It is extremely tiring as the children are only 2 years old. A lot of care and attention is needed for them and not more than 1 minute for you to idle around. Just a lost of attention may result in any kid falling down from the chair, and not in time to stop any arguments by them.I have been used in sitting in front of a pc and doing everything at my own pace. I only walked around when i need a drink, a pee or is lunch time. But now, i only sit down when it is lunch break. That is it. I am still adapting to this new nature of childcare. I love children but it is very energy consuming. I should not give up because of this. I have a one year contract with this centre and I have 1 yr to determine if this is really my cup of tea.
Reading a book now called "The Power of your Subconscious Mind" and i find it very useful! It is like my own journey with a psychologist sitting next to me,teaching me all the positive mindsets. I have only read till chapter 3 but i love this book! I am actually in quite a depression that i seemed to regret in the path i set for myself. But from this book, i learnt that i should look at the positive side and tell myself that i can do it!
3 days of work is still to early to judge this job. I will try all my best to learn everything about this career and there are lots to learn!!! Till then, then i should judge if i like it, if it is my cup of tea. :)

If you do not see "I AM OFFLINE", means i am ready to chat! Ha Ha!
