Generous Huiling treat me to Sun Yan Zi's concert on the saturday that just pass. And it is a ticket worth 100 plus!!! 3 cheers for her generousity!!! :) And the concert is GOOD! Although there are some small mistakes on her concert but she handle it with a very calm behaviour. Imagine i am at such a good seating that i can see how calmly she wear back her heels when it accidentally slip off when she is dancing. Hee Hee! Initially, i am not a fan of hers, but after this concert, i can be considered one. Some songs of hers i do not fancy at all, but after the concert, i find her songs nice!! Maybe is because she sing with a lot of feelings. And the special guest FIR and tanya chua were fanstatic too! All with great voice! A night worth spending!
In the middle of the concert, Huiling turn and tell me that her colleagues invite us to a party. I immediately rejected as i thought it is some night clubbing stuffs. But at the end of the concert, huiling pass to me a "guest" card to yan zi's party. Then i realised the party is actually a private function after her concert. In chinese, we called it a "qing gong hui".
Wondering why the special treatment? Cause Huiling is working under NTUC and NTUC is one of the sponsors for yan zi's concert. Her colleague get the priviledge to go in and thus invited us. Took some photos inside but not very clear.
Am still waiting for Ms Huiling to send me the group photo taken with yan zi, FIR, tanya and the NTUC colleagues (plus lucky me). Is the best concert i ever go to as the whole trip is so well planned. :) Way to go SUN YAN ZI!!! :)

Remembering 2005... Welcoming 2006

Year 2005, a dramatic and a year full of changes and realisation.
One minute, i am attached and with plan to settle down after a long term run, another minute, i am being thrown at the horrible truth and back to being single. And all these made me realise that i need six years to realise the fact. Now in the year of 2006, i start out with a single status and hopefully with a more positive mindset for relationship. I am just glad that i am able to withstand all the unhappy and heartbreaking moments, and at the same time discovering who are the people that are really important.
Relationship, is it really needed? One moment claimed to be heatly in love, another moment claimed to be not. I bet it is not true love in the first place. And true love, i wondered if it still exist in this world that is full of temptations. Contradictions and confusions stirred in my head. But is still better to let nature take its course.
This huge NEWS OF THE YEAR hit me hard and thus change my whole mindset which makes me head towards a better path. Or should i say it opens up my path. I also realised that till the end, one got to depend on ownself. No reliance should there be, or else you will be the one suffering. And ultimately, family members are the most important in one's life. As there is where true love exist.
I start off 2006 peacefully with my friends but when i start to retrace what had happened to me, i feel sad yet happy, regretful yet not regretful. I guess this is what life is about. If you do not fall, you will never learn. And if you ever learnt how to learn, do it right till the end.
My friend told me that my 2006 will be a cycle of start for me in the chinese fengshui. That is a piece of good news! And i hope i will really get what i want and what i deserves. :)
