Received a call from Salvation Army childcare centre. The supervisor, Eunice, asked when i can start work and if i am still interested in the job. Of course i give her a confirmed "yes" but i could not confirm her when i can start work. Instead, i said that is only after she confirm me, then i will know when is the date. Ok, i seems a bit insincere here.

I have roughly asked her about the details of the job and here it is.
Mon - Fri : 9am - 5.30pm
Alt Sat : 7am - 2pm
Pay wise: $1110
Job Scope: Take care of kids, change pampers, feed and bath them. (Like a mother! ;P)

That is all i know. I know the income is very low but childcare teachers (w/o qualifications) roughly get around this price range. She say that she will confirm my position with me tommorrow but i could sense her a bit of unhappiness when i cannot confirm her my last day. And need her to confirm me first instead. Ok, i have found out when is the earliest i can start work and i will call her back later.

If you think that i am going to stop here, you are wrong! I will take up either Diploma in Early Childhood Studies or a Diploma in Montessori and both courses will take me 2/1/2 years to complete. A bit too long isn't it? I can move on to Diploma in Early Childhood Studies (Leadership) to be a supervisor or i can move along the Montessori line if i would want to set up a childcare centre of my own in future to come. So this a path i have yet to consider about. Both will take me about 5 years to acheive.

Well, i just hope that i can get the job and move on to my next career path. Although the ladder is hard to climb but at least i have found what i want.

The next step is to train up my physical condition and take up singing (to know how to project my voice) so as to take up the job well.

P/s: Although it is just a small minor low paid job to anyone, but is the point of doing what i like that is important. As one can only succeed by doing something he/she really likes. I will face a tough start but i believe with my passion, i can move on!
